Located only 55 minutes southwest of Chicago in Braidwood, IL, this gated year-round resort and residential community offers a very unique opportunity for affordable recreational living where boating, fishing and swimming can be enjoyed on pristine spring fed stocked lakes. Miles of nature trails offer the opportunity to hike, bicycle or use your electric golf cart, the preferred mode of transportation in Shadow Lakes, and enjoy the outdoors.

An official statement from the Shadow Lakes II Association Board of Directors:
Recent information regarding the upcoming election candidates and the question of two of the five candidates eligibility has been reviewed and confirmed by Shadow Lakes II Association counsel.
Michelle Gehris of 185 Fossil Cove, being the sole individual associated with A Little Dignity LLC, is eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.
Kathy Gray of FC147, as per CICA, is not eligible to serve on the Board of Directors. If an owner has submitted a vote for Kathy Gray, but would like to rescind that vote, and vote again. Please contact the Management Office for a new ballot by phone, email or in person.
For all other votes, If this information has affected your voting decision, and you wish to rescind it, please contact the management office by phone, email and in person to obtain a new ballot.
Remember; meet the candidates is set for June 14th at 10 am at the Community Center. Come meet those that wish to represent the members of the Association.
The Declarations and Covenants, together with the Bylaws, have been officially recorded with Will County. Lighthouse Cove is now eligible to vote in this next election. Ballots will be mailed out to LHC no later than Wednesday, June 11th. The Recorded Documents will be posted on the Shadow Lakes website on Tuesday, June 10th.
The 2025 Board of Directors election will move forward as planned. All ballots must be postmarked no later than June 30th to be counted as a vote.
